My 5 Favourite Places

1. Las Vegas - There is no where else in the world like Vegas. It really is just one big road of casinos but there is so much to do! You will never be bored in Vegas. Picking which hotel to stay in is tricky, but the good thing is that you can't really go wrong as they're all fantastic. The theme hotels are the best as they are the most unique, I stayed in the Venetian and you can even take a gondola ride in there. The hotels are huge and if you really wanted to you wouldn't have to leave your hotel for the entire holiday as there is everything under one roof. A trip to the Grand Canyon is a must and don't miss Fremont Street, it's 'old Vegas' which is pretty cool

My favourite things to do in Vegas; get a 99 cent frozen margarita at Fremont Casino, go on the roller coaster at New York New York, get a picture with the Vegas sign, get deep fried oreos at Mermaids

2. New York - An obvious choice but a truly amazing place. I was lucky enough to visit New York twice last year - in June and December which meant I got to see the city in summer and winter. New York is magical at Christmas, but SO cold! In contrast I had a near death experience when walking across the Brooklyn Bridge when it was 27 degrees in summer (fortunately a Mountain Dew saved my life). Go to New York if you want to shop, see a Broadway show, shop, eat a lot and shop

My favourite things to do in NY; see a Yankees game, drink cocktails at a rooftop bar (the press lounge is my fave), play on the big piano in FAO Schwartz

3. London - I might be biased since I live in London but there really is so much to see and do. I've lived here for 5 years and still have a huge 'things to do in London' list. London has something for everyone - whether you want to spend a lazy day in Hyde Park, soak up some culture at one of the many museums (V&A is my fave) or just go shopping. The tube and bus make it super easy to get around, although I love walking around London (if I know the way!)

My favourite things to do in London; get lost in Harrods and Selfridges, get a frosted chocolate brownie from Hummingbird Bakery, get a rowing boat on the Serpentine in Hyde Park, visit the queen at Buckingham Palace

4. Florida - It really is just a lovely sunny bubble of fun. There's just something about Florida that makes you really happy. I love a rollercoaster which means Florida is ideal for me. My favourite park is Busch Gardens (Sheikra is seriously the scariest thing I have ever done) but I also love the water parks. Florida is also great for shopping with all the outlets, I tend to stock up on Ugg boots! Take me back please!

My favourite things to do in Florida; eat your weight in cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory, have a Flaming Moe at Simpsons land in Universal Studios, dare to go on Summit Plummit at Blizzard Beach

5. Yorkshire - Out of all the places listed this is definitely my favourite. I was born and bred in Yorkshire so it holds a special place in my heart. I also spent 3 years at university in Leeds where I met the love of my life (cheesy!) so basically I have many reasons to love Yorkshire! Yorkshire is the biggest county in the UK and the Yorkshire countryside is without doubt the best in the country. The people are friendly and the air is clean, you'll also be able to get a pint for about £2.50, crazy times.

My favourite things to do in Yorkshire; visit the Yorkshire Dales and stop off at a good old Yorkshire pub, wander round the shambles in York, visit Forbidden Corner (the strangest place in the world), have lunch at Roots

Totoro Nail Art: Kitsune Nails

Manami Shima is the very talented lady behind Kitsune Nails. I first had my nails done by her at Hyper Japan in November and I've been trying to find an excuse to get them done ever since! So I thought my birthday was the perfect excuse to indulge in some nail art.

Located just off Oxford Street, Kitsune Nails is right in the heart of London. A look through her Instagram will make any nail art fan drool and get you instantly thinking about which design you'd choose. After much deliberation I decided to go with the Totoro designs. I love the pastel colours for spring and the detail on the Totoro's is just amazing. As the designs are done using gellish they should last about 3 weeks. I'm already thinking about what to get next, some of my favourite designs are below!

How To Maintain Long Hair

I have long hair, like really long hair, like Rapunzel hair, and people are always asking me how I maintain it, how long it takes to wash, brush etc so I thought I'd write a post about my 5 favourite products for maintaining long luscious hair.

1. L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shampoo and Conditioner - I have tried so so many shampoos - Kerastase, Redken, Bumble & Bumble...you name it, I've tried it but I always come back to this L'Oreal one, which is surprising since it's not even expensive. It makes my hair super soft and shiny and I honestly can't praise it enough if you have long hair. For lovely shiny locks have a look here

2. Boots skin, hair and nail vitamins - just one of these little things a day makes my hair and nails grow really long, really fast. I'm still yet so see any benefits for my skin but they definitely work for hair and nails. You can buy them here

3. Mason & Pearson hairbrush - yes, they're expensive but in my opinion definitely worth the price tag. This brush is an investment (I've had mine for about 10 years and it's still going strong) and perfect for brushing your long locks without damaging your hair. there's different bristle types available - I have bristle & nylon for my main brush and purse bristle for my handbag brush. You can read more about them here

4. Kerastase Elixir Ultime - out of all the products listed this is definitely my favourite. This hair oil has changed my life (which is weird because Kerastase shampoo does nothing for me). It keeps my hair healthy and keeps those pesky split ends at bay. Living in London this is a must to prevent dry, frizzy ends. I squirt 2 pumps into my hands, rub them together then comb through my hair.I can't recommend it enough, check it out here

5. GHD straighteners - an oldie, but a goodie. I'm lucky that I have naturally straight hair so I don't need to straighten my hair too often, but we all have bad hair days, and my GHD's are my go to item when my hair is an out of control mess. I have these ones

Chanel O-Case

My mum bought me this super cute Chanel o-case as a present last year to add to my Chanel collection. She knew I'd been wanting a Chanel clutch and the O case is such a great price compared to the other clutches. Mine is the medium size and it's really versatile as you can use it a cosmetics bag, ipad mini case, travel pouch or clutch. Personally I like to use mine as a clutch as it's light but also spacious and makes any outfit look great.

I chose the tan in caviar leather with the CC embroidered on the front. I already have two black Chanel bags so I wanted to add a new colour and tan is a great neutral for summer outfits. I also love the caviar leather as it is hardwaring and easy to clean. The bag is not structured and has a material lining, there are also no inside pockets.

As it was a gift the Chanel sales associate wrapped it beautifully with Chanel wrapping paper, gold ribbon and glittery camelias. My o-case was £330 last year but there has been a price increase since so it would be best to check the price as your local Chanel boutique.

I like to use mine for summery evenings, I used it last summer on holiday in New York when visiting a rooftop bar and teamed it with a nautical Zara dress and red Valentino rockstuds. I would definitely recommend the o-case and I'm already planning which colour to get next!

What's On My Dressing Table: April

My dressing table is without doubt my favourite thing in my flat, and I spend a lot of time sat at it, so I wanted to write a post to show what I've got on my dressing table this month - any new products I've been using or trinkets I keep on there.

1. Bumble and Bumble Surf Travel Set - If you want your hair to look like Ariel from The Little Mermaid then this is the shampoo for you. I'd wanted to try Bumble and Bumble hair products for a while but I find it difficult to find a good shampoo as I have long hair which can get weighed down by heavy products, which means I don't like to spend too much on a hair product unless I'm sure I like them. So when I found this travel size set it was perfect as it meant I could try all 3 products in the surf range without for only £18 - that's shampoo, conditioner and surf spray. You can find the surf travel set here

2. Burberry 'Rain or Shine' Spring Palette - I fell in love with the design of this limited palette, it is just so cute and makes me happy every time I look at it. You can sweep the powder across your face for an all over glow, or use it as a highlighter, buy it here but be quick as it is selling fast!

3. Chanel Illuminating Base - this smells amazing, alas that is probably the best thing about it! I was really excited to try this product but I was disappointed with this base as I found it made my skin look dry and patchy. It feels smooth on your skin when you first apply it but I found it wasn't great for keeping my make-up in place

4. Lancome Hypnose Mascara - I'm always on the look out for a new mascara and I'd read in InStyle 100 best beauty buys that this was the best mascara out there so wanted to give it a go. This mascara is perfect for everyday use as it makes my lashes long but doesn't flake off during the day and isn't too heavy for day time. It's also easy to remove which is a bonus

5. Creme De La Mer Moisturising Cream - a true investment for any beauty lover. I have 'problem' skin so I was hoping this would help a bit. For the first two weeks my skin felt a bit greasy, and then dry, but I think this was just my face adapting to a new product as I'm really liking it now and it's definitely made my skin smoother, plumper and reduced visible pores.

6. Diptyque Baies Candle - this is my favourite Diptyque candle fragrance and it smells and looks beautiful on my dressing table. You can check our Diptyque's range of candles here

I also bought the cutest little pen pot from Paperchase to keep my Bobbi Brown brushes in (in top pic). I'd been looking for something to keep my brushes in and this was a bargain at £5.99 and goes with my dressing table perfectly

Handbag Wishlist: April

1. Delvaux Tempete Ivory GM - tipped as the new Hermes , Delvaux are a Belgian luxury accessories brand. The brand has actually been around since 1829 but is just starting to pick up pace within the fashion world due to their the beautiful quality and craftsmanship. Delvaux is still quite exclusive but can be found at their UK flagship store on Bond Street. You can explore the world of Delvaux here

2. Givenchy Antigona Small Linen - I love the Antigona, it is one of my favourite styles and in my eyes is a classic handbag design. I'm a big fan of a structured bag and I just love Givenchy's colours every season. The linen colour is my favourite at the moment as I think it is just perfect for summer and will go with so many different outfits. As I'm quite petite I prefer the small size but the Antigona also comes in medium. A neutral colour bag is also great as you can accessorise it with a bright scarf for a pop of colour

3. Mansur Gavirel Cammello Bucket Bag - one of my favourite new contemporary handbag brands, they are based in New York and are a breath of fresh air in the accessories market. The designs are simple yet classy and are perfect for anyone who is looking for a good quality, understated bag. I love the bucket bag and also the choice of lining colours - my fave is definitely gold! They also have a lovely range of totes, take a look here

4. Victoria Beckham Yellow Python Quincy Tote - I am a huge fan of VB, python and the colour yellow...so there is nothing for me not to love about this bag! The colour is perfect for sunny walk in the park and the style is simple enough to carry off the colour and texture. VB has definitely proved herself in the fashion world. Check our her latest bags here

Pinko Daisy Duck Clutch

I was super excited when I found this Daisy Duck clutch bag in Pinko last week! Anyone who has read my Disneyland Paris post will know that I am a bit of a Disney geek so Disney + Handbag = Awesome. I love Pinko's new Donald and Daisy range, it is fun yet still sophisticated and the use of sequins on the t-shirts and jumpers make it super chic.

I had originally gone to Pinko to purchase the Daisy jumper and was sad to realise it had sold out, but felt like it was fate when I found this bag instead. The bag also has a chain handle so can be worn on the shoulder or as a cross body. This bag is a little bit of fun that will certainly brighten up my wardrobe this summer. The bag is made of PU, not leather, but I think this is ok for a novelty bag. The bag retails for £105 and is also available in the Donald design. You can shop the Pinko Disney range here

Easter Nails

Easter is one of my favourite times of the year, mainly because of the mini eggs and four day weekend, but there's also cute bunnies and stuff. All this talk of chocolate Easter and it now being 'officially spring' (no, really - I know, I don't think anyone has told the sun because he's not here!) has got me in the mood to paint my nails a lovely pastel shade, so I thought I would share my favourite nail varnishes at the moment.

Essie are definitely my favourite nail varnish brand at the moment, I fell in love with them last year on holiday in Florida where I stocked up in Walmart. Pastel nail varnish shades can be tricky as a lot of them end up looking faded and wishy washy but that's why I love Essie - their pastels are a nice solid colour after 2 coats and they also last well. I had a bit of fun with mine to create cute patterns using wooden cuticle sticks (10 for 99p at Superdrug). I also think Essie are really good value at £7.99 each and they're even on 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment which makes them even more of a bargain. Happy Easter everyone!

Blue - bikini so teeny
Lilac - lilacism
Pink - stones n' roses
Green - mint candy apple
