As the new series of Great British Bake Off starts tomorrow (yay!) I thought I would do a little bit of baking so I decided to make these incredibly kawaii panda cookies. I bought the cookie cutters at Hyper Japan from the Tofu Cute stall and you can buy them here if you're interested in giving them a go yourself. They were super easy to make and only took 10 minutes in the oven, here's the recipe I followed...
Ingredients
♥ 60g butter
♥ 60g sugar
♥ 155g flour
♥ 5g coco powder
♥ 1 egg
Method
♥ Mix butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth
♥ Add 1 beaten egg
♥ Separate mixture into 2 bowls
♥ To one half add 80g of flour and mix
♥ To the other half add 75g of flour and 5g coco powder and mix
♥ Once mixed to form a dough wrap each portion in cling film and put in the fridge for half an hour
♥ After half an hour take the dough out of the fridge and roll out using a rolling pin
♥ Carefully cut the shapes out and assemble on a a tray covered in grease proof paper
♥ Put in the oven for 10 minutes at 170c
♥ Eat and enjoy! Yum

Yeah everyone thinks they must be really complicated to make but it's just cookie cutters really! The first few you make might be a bit tricky and fall apart but once you've made a few it gets much easier x
DeleteWow these look delicious, almost too good to eat! Also, the recipe doesn't need too many ingredients which is always good:)
