What's On My Dressing Table: January

1. Beauty Blender - I'd heard so many good things about the beauty blender and after using the Real Techniques sponge for the last few months I decided to give the beauty blender a go. It works pretty well however to be honest I don't think it's any better than the RT version which is much cheaper! I also don't like that you have to wet the beauty blender before you use it (yes I'm lazy) and it doesn't seem to be lasting as well as my RT one. Don't get me wrong it's a great sponge, but I just think the RT version does the same job for half the price

2. Jo Malone Mini Colognes - I bought a set of mini Jo Malone colognes from the Christmas range as I wanted to try some new fragrances. I am loving the Peony & Blush Suede and English Pear & Freesia! Read my full review of the set here

3. Bath & Bodyworks Anti-Bac - yes it's flu season, which means you need anti-bac at the ready! Daisy bought me this lovely one from Bath & Bodyworks for Christmas and I just love that it is pink and glittery! It also smells amazing. I can't wait to stock up on more of these when I go to Florida

4. Kylie Jenner Lip Kit - I ordered this back in November and it finally arrived! Although I feel like I ordered it so long ago that I'm a bit over it now, I was caught up in the hype! I got the colour 'Candy K' as it's a pinky nude which was the best option for my skin tone. It's ok but I feel like there's better options for half the price, especially since I had to pay almost the same price as the product in postage, customs and Royal Mail admin fees :(

5. Dreamweave Fibregenics Mascara - this is my current mascara that I've been using for a couple of months now. It seems to have lasted pretty well considering it's a fibre mascara and I must say it makes my lashes look super long. Read my full review of it here

  2. I don't really use beauty products. But I love reading them! I hope you don't regret purchasing your Kylie product.

    1. I think I regret getting caught up in the hype! I think we're all guilty of doing this with new beauty releases though haha x

  3. I've lost my Beauty Blender and I really miss it, need to buy a replacement! Also I was kind of jealous not to be on the Kylie Lip Kit hype, but if you reckon it's not THAT brilliant then its softened the blow slightly ;)

    1. Oh no! Well if you want a cheaper alternative I think the RT sponge is great! Honestly you can get other liquid lipsticks that are just as good for half the price (even if the packaging is super pretty! haha) x

  4. I love my beauty blender - I've been using it dry to blend under eye setting powders. Love the tulips and Jo Malone. All looks really pretty xx

  5. Such a shame about the KJ lipkit, I really wanted one but quite glad I didn't as I'm slightly over it now too. Though I definitely wouldn't pass it off if I saw one in person! Postage fees put me off. Didn't know they did mini Jo Malone fragrances, I really want those! x

    1. Yeah I would agree I think the lip kit would be an alright purchase if you could just pick it up on the high street but the hassle to get it and all the extra postage charges make it not worth it in my opinion. The Jo Malone minis were part of the Christmas range but they might still do them not sure! x

  8. I was interested to read your thoughts on the beauty blender. I've never used either this or the RT version but picked up a Beauty Blender when I was in the US last month but yet to try it out.
